Music room

This is Oly’s sort of music room, plus the second spare room and study space. Here’s how it looked before:

As with all rooms, it had the wallpaper stripped off, re-plastering, rewiring, full decorating etc. The floor boards were – once again – knackered so we had to level the room with ply before carpeting:

And all that work led to this:

Lamp room gray Pavillion Gray and Cornforth White

Farrow and Ball gray greys bedroom

Grey colour scheme bedroom

Paint colours are all Farrow and Ball and are:

  • Lamp Room Gray below the picture rail
  • Pavilion Gray above the rail
  • Cornforth White on the ceiling
  • All White for the woodwork, picture rail and cornicing

We love the greys in this room and are pleased with how they work with a few bright accents….but we’ve been careful not to go overboard with the bright!

Drawers are from good ol’ Ikea

This colourful little bedside unit is also from Ikea.

Did you spot the Orange Amp? Oly was dithering over this purchase and I may be guilty of gently encouraging him, purely for the colour!

Here’s some details from the room:

For a bit more detail about things in this room, check out this post.

So, that was the last bedroom to show you. What do you think?
